E. Sage Crescent, LPC

You want a therapist that's queer and neurodivergent? I get it!

Hello! I'm Sage (they/them), a nonbinary, queer, neurodivergent counselor, offering therapy rooted in Person-Centered theories. I also use  Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Family Systems & Internal Family Systems/parts work, aspects from Psychoanalytic theory, as well as having a social justice, intersectional, and minority stress approach. Being person-centered and trauma-informed is a value of mine in the therapeutic space so I always will tailor my approach to best fit your therapeutic needs.

I'm here to offer you a nonjudgmental and trauma-informed perspective so that you are comfortable in the therapeutic setting. I can provide to you queer & gender-affirming care that allows you room to explore personal growth with feeling validated and safe. My office is also a space where kinky and polyamorous clients can feel safe to be their most authentic selves. As a queer person, I know how important it is to work with someone who is knowledgeable, competent, and kind; I hope to provide that for you during our work together.

I have nearly five years of experience working with clients in a clinical setting and graduated with High Honors and a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from South University in 2023. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. Currently, I am also working on completing a doctoral degree in Clinical Sexology (PhD).

Clinical Mental Health Counselor
Sex & Relationship Therapist

My mission as a clinician is to empower queer/trans people in their identities, despite living in a world that is not only disaffirming, but actively oppressive.

Outside of the office...

When I'm not in the office I am typically spending time with my lovely partners, and our animals or getting cozy and reading. I love to garden (you might notice all of the plants in my office), play video and TTRPG games, go to live music, watch movies, and enjoy all forms of art. I also have a passion for advocating for the queer community as well as sexual health and wellness in and outside of the mental health field.

I look forward to hearing from you!

A collection of buttons and pins with various messages and symbols on a gray fabric surface. The buttons include messages like 'trans rights,' 'fuck ICE and no human is illegal,' 'they/them/theirs,' and 'nonbinary therapist.' There are also stickers with political and cultural messages, including a Palestinian flag, and a die with gender pronouns.

My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.
