E. Sage Crescent, LPC

You want a therapist that's queer and neurodivergent? I get it!

Hello! I'm Sage (they/them), a nonbinary, queer, neurodivergent counselor, offering therapy rooted in Person-Centered theories. I also use  Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Family Systems & Internal Family Systems/parts work, aspects from Psychoanalytic theory, as well as having a social justice, intersectional, and minority stress approach. Being person-centered and trauma-informed is a value of mine in the therapeutic space so I always will tailor my approach to best fit your therapeutic needs.

I'm here to offer you a nonjudgmental and trauma-informed perspective so that you are comfortable in the therapeutic setting. I can provide to you queer & gender-affirming care that allows you room to explore personal growth with feeling validated and safe. My office is also a space where kinky and polyamorous clients can feel safe to be their most authentic selves. As a queer person, I know how important it is to work with someone who is knowledgeable, competent, and kind; I hope to provide that for you during our work together.

I have nearly five years of experience working with clients in a clinical setting and graduated with High Honors and a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from South University in 2023. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. Currently, I am also working on completing a doctoral degree in Clinical Sexology (PhD).

My mission as a clinician is to empower queer/trans people in their identities, despite living in a world that is not only disaffirming, but actively oppressive.

  • Sage Crescent, LPC, is now offering professional consultation services for mental health clinicians who want to deepen their capacity to work affirmatively with queer and neurodivergent clients. With a strong foundation in LGBTGEQIAP+ mental health, neurodivergent-affirming practices, and trauma-informed care, Sage supports therapists in identifying and shifting clinical practices that may unintentionally alienate or pathologize marginalized clients.

These individualized consultation sessions are ideal for clinicians who are committed to making their work more inclusive, respectful, and affirming.

    Services include:

    • Review and feedback on intake forms, consent documents, and other client-facing paperwork

    • Support with revising clinical language (spoken and written) to reflect affirming, non-pathologizing practices

    • Guidance on in-session strategies to create a safer and more welcoming space for queer and neurodivergent clients

Consultation is offered at a rate of $300 per hour, with a one-hour minimum per session. Whether you’re just starting to explore this work or looking to fine-tune existing affirming practices, Sage offers thoughtful, judgment-free guidance tailored to your needs.

Outside of the office...

When I'm not in the office I am typically spending time with my lovely partners, and our animals or getting cozy and reading. I love to garden (you might notice all of the plants in my office), play video and TTRPG games, go to live music, watch movies, and enjoy all forms of art. I also have a passion for advocating for the queer community as well as sexual health and wellness in and outside of the mental health field.

I look forward to hearing from you!

A collection of buttons and pins with various messages and symbols on a gray fabric surface. The buttons include messages like 'trans rights,' 'fuck ICE and no human is illegal,' 'they/them/theirs,' and 'nonbinary therapist.' There are also stickers with political and cultural messages, including a Palestinian flag, and a die with gender pronouns.

My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.
